Description
The Beatles - Please Please Me
(Parlophone PCS 3042 UK LP 1963)
This is an original UK 1963 stereo pressing in great condition! It is technically a 4th pressing, & the 2nd black & yellow Parlophone stereo pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve, which is printed by E.J. Day. It has a large "stereo" on the front. It comes complete with its original polythene- lined Emitex inner sleeve - which is in verygood condition. The record has black & yellow Parlophone labels. They have "The Parlophone Co..." & "Recording First..." texts. "K" is also stamped around the spindle-hole on Side 2's label. The matrix numbers are YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1. The mother stampers are GR 1 & M 1 respectively.
A true UK original 1963 stereo pressing in wonderful condition. Extremely difficult to locate in this condition, & the next best thing to wallet-busting "black & gold" UK originals. Don't miss out!
Sleeve: Very nice ! Just some fading wear to the rear,a bit of discolouration & some minimal rubbing wear at the corner tips.spine intact.VERYGOOD + condition.
VINYL: verygood+ both sides! nice sheen and lies flat. very good+. The labels are lovely and clean and show mild spindle wear only.No writing or cellotape marks.
OVERALL A NICE LP.HARDER TO FIND THAN THE MORE COMMON MONO ISSUES.BELIEVE STEREO COPIES HAD TO BE SPECIAL ORDERED AS NOT AS POPULAR IN THE DAY.
