Description
The BEATLES
PLEASE PLEASE ME
SIGNED BY ALL FOUR BEATLES!!!!
1st 1963 MONO PRESSING
XEX 421 1-N / XEX 422 1-N
This extremely interesting item was bought at Golding Young auctions on 16th December 2015 and comes with a headed letter from the auction house stating date of auction purchase and the original vendors statement of provenance which explains that this item was signed at the ABC cinema Northampton in 1963, the signatures were acquired by a junior reporter of the Northampton Chronicle and Echo who was the boyfriend of the original Vendor.
I am certainly no expert in this field and I myself have not had these verified so I am going solely of the word of the auction house and the vendor with regards to their authenticity so as such these will be sold as seen and the auction sale is final.
The signatures are believed to be that of the Beatles hand and all four are on the front of the album cover they and are dedicated to Isobel (I think), they are slightly faint but are still clear and visible when up close, I have taken close up pictures.
The auction house letter of provenance is included in this sale but please do bear in mind that this is only a letter of provenance.
As well as the signed sleeve it is worth noting that included is the original black and gold 1st press mono which is in GOOD condition displaying numerous marks to the vinyl surfaces and labels. The mother stampers are 2GM / 1GA and the Dick James credits are displayed.
If anybody has any questions or information on this item then please feel free to message me and I will reply as soon as I can.
Good luck.
