Beatles 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' Black & Gold MONO PMC 1202 - 1st Press 1963
Dick James Music song credits (on the McCartney & Lennon tracks)
Side 1 XEX 421-1N
Side 2 XEX 422-1N
Vinyl: This record has been played. I am not claiming that it is a perfect copy, but is still played well when I last listened to it. It has been in store for many years. There are some surface marks on the record, but no major scratches.
Label: Still in a good condition. There are spindle marks, but all the words are clear. there is no writing on the labels.
The pictures are as good as I can get. Please ask if you have any questions.
Outside Cover - Ernest J. Day & Co credits. There is the remains of a blue label on the back cover, near the top. The rear edge shows signs of handling. The fron cover is good, except for a "19" written at the top, near the word "Beatles"
The flaps are still stuck down as they should be. No sticky tape repair work at all!. There are no splits on the spine, but the rear cover is beginning to come away just above the fold over edge - if you cvan understand what I mean!I have not tried to repair it, leaving that to the buyer! The front cover is still nice & shiny.
In summary - the record has been used and probably loved. I have had it since 1979, and it has only been played once since then. I am selling many of my vinyl records, this being the first of many UK Beatles albums to be sold on EBay. One for the true collector.
