Important info: According some Beatles records investigators the Please Please Me stereo 9th press with one EMI box labels, 1981-1982, has 6 (six) different types (http://beatlebay.co.uk/stereo.html). This is very rare 7th press label and has not been seen and described so far. Very similar to Type 1 label, side 1, the main difference is the entire 4th line of the side 1, which is pulled to the left exactly at the level of the beginning of the label Rim inscription "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD, the end of" 4. Chains ... BIEM. NCB. Mecolico" is at the end of Rim inscription" ... OF THIS RECORD PROHIBITED". Larger distance between credit THE BEATLES upper small box EMI at the bottom label, than above other 6 types. Side 2 also larger distance between credit THE BEATLES upper small box EMI at the bottom label, than above other 6 types. The left-side credits side 1 "33 1/3, (Y??.94), (p) 1963, 1" are aligned at the end. Similarly at site 2. Stampers are 2/MA and 1/MA
CONDITIONS:
Sleeve: Excellent, a shine glossy, laminated fleepback sleeve without small “stereo” on front side. Excellent, with fully readable spine in great condition. Original press "Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending". The sleeve is holding up fine with no splits, writings or tears, only front right side light tree hardly visible surface laminate traces. Perfect example of this original, healthy sleeve!
Record: Excellent, perfectly flat vinyl. I can define it as near mint. Lovely deep gloss sheen, no surface faint scuffing, no any marks. Regarding the vinyl itself, there is only one very small hairline on Side 2 which is hardly noticeable and not felt with finger - the vinyl other than that doesn't look played in my opinion!!!. No jumps or repeats - a great sounding vinyl record. Looking really perfect, nice lafter storage for 35 years.! So hard to find original vinyls of this condition! Matrix numbers: Side One: YEX 94-1, Side Two: YEX 95-1.
Audio: Excellent, near mint, plays fine, deep solid stereo sound, with no sticks jumps or excessive surface noise, certainly a decent & very playable original UK copy. Here, there a few light clicks, between the songs, that is fine for used vinyl records old near 40 years.
Inner sleeve: Excellent, clear, no tears, lettering or bends at all, Original EMI Sepia "LP Advertising" Inner sleeve Type-1 (1968 --1969).
Labels: Excellent, near mint. Black label with One Box black-white EMI logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co Ltd…” printed at the start perimeter print and “Made In GT. Britain” lower text. The labels are in excellent, near mint condition. The labels are clean, the text is bright and full readable, there are no tears, stickers etc. Both labels haven't any spindle traces/wears.
