Description
ARTIST: PAUL McCARTNEY as 'Percy 'Thrills' Thrillington'
TITLE: THRILLINGTON
LABEL: REGAL ZONOPHONE EMC 3175
This is PAUL McCARTNEY's famous spoof release as Percy 'Thrills' Thrillington released on Regal Zonophone in 1977. Despite the fact that McCartney's name appears on the label with composition credits and his face is clearly visible reflected in the glass of the mixing booth window on the back cover, this one slipped under the fans' radar when it was released. It bombed in sales terms and has become almost impossible to find since... especially with the FANTASTIC MINT condition VINYL that this one has.
That's right, the VINYL is in TOTALLY MINT condition with no marks at all even when viewed under bright light. Needless to say it plays flawlessly. The LABELS are also MINT.
The COVER has very, very minimal corner wear on ONE corner only - nothing to speak of really but I want to let you know exactly how good this LP is. There are some very light minor creases on the spine caused by the light weight card used for the cover. Really nothing major to detract from the pristine look of this cover. Otherwise there is NO wear at all and the spine is absolutely straight and totally readable. Needless to say the cover is totally flat and uncreased. On Record Collector criteria I would grade this cover as a full EXCELLENT if not slightly better. The black inner sleeve is in MINT condition.
This is a rare opportunity to obtain one of the RAREST BEATLE related LPs ever released and a must for all collectors of the Beatles and Paul McCartney.
