Description
This is one of a series of LPs and EPs -- some sealed, some quite rare -- that I will be listing over the next several weeks and months.
This auction is for the UK-import 2-LP vinyl pressing of the album entitled Past Masters Volumes 1 & 2 by The Beatles. This 2-LP compilation release is on the Capitol label, and was originally released in 1988. This album was created in the late ‘80’s at the time of the release of the Beatles’ initial release of their catalog on CD, and it collects all of the singles, B-sides and other market releases that were not contained on the Capitol and/or original UK albums released by the band over the years. Lest you think that these are left-overs or tracks not good enough for release on the original albums, you would be quite wrong – She Loves You, Love Me Do (original version with Ringo on drums), I Want To Hold Your Hand, I Feel Fine, Yes It Is, Day Tripper, Rain, Hey Jude and one of my all-time favorite Beatles tracks, She’s a Woman. This is a great collection that fills in the gaps in the Beatles vinyl catalog, and a staple of any Beatles collection.
As noted above, this album is in new, still-sealed and mint condition, as shown in the photo.
I do not use stock photos. The photo shows the actual item up for auction.
I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty years (education expenses – and soon-to-be college expenses -- are the reason I am selling my collection...).
Shipping and handling is determined by weight and is per record, not per title. The shipping costs are as follows: $4.00 for one record via media mail to anywhere in the U.S. Each additional record is an additional $0.40 for media mail shipping. Priority shipping within the U.S. is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).
Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.
NOTE – there is no tracking of packages through the USPS without delivery confirmation. If you would like tracking ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75.
International Buyers – Please Note:
· Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
· Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
· These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
· We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
If you are outside the US, the two basic types of shipping are 1st Class International (less expensive) and Priority International (more costly but slightly faster). The cost depends upon the weight and the country of destination. I will provide the cost for each option in my post-auction invoice (and, again, I can provide the info during the auction, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).
NOTE – there is no tracking of packages through the USPS unless it is specifically purchased through the USPS. If you want tracking, please let me know and I will provide the cost for that service.
I will always combine items, so that your shipping costs will be more manageable. Payment must be made by paypal as per recent rules imposed by eBay. If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction andr I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.
