We are offering this VERY RARE Swedish SHELL "HELP" LP with a Dutch made cover.
Before you hear the story behind it, let me tell you that we GUARANTEE MONEY BACK that
this is an original (not a counterfeit) album. Now, one of my customers brought into our store
a "Shell" album that he bought off of ebay thinking it was original. It was indeed a very fine
counterfeit. However, when I compared it to my original album, two things really stood out.
The photo of THE BEATLES on the front of this album has much more vivid and lively colors
than the counterfeit. And secondly, the "RED" HELP printed on the front top left corner just below
the EMI logo, is dark RED on my original. Solid! The counterfeit is Red with occasional "Orange" areas
showing up on the lines. Not very noticeable until you compare it with an original pressing.
Then it really does stand out. So be careful when buying this album out there folks.

OK! The Shell Oil company made a deal with BOVEMA (Dutch representative of EMI) to have a number of
LP sleeves printed with their SHELL logo as a backdrop to The Beatles. SHELL had just started a huge campaign
called SHELL HELPS, thus the link, the BEATLES LP fitted perfectly with this slogan. The LP's were given only
to staff sales members, only a few thousand were pressed. This campaign ran both in Holland and Sweden
reason for the co-production of the LP. This rarity is MUCH sought after. The registration code is PARLOPHONE 5C062-04257.
This number is on both the record cover and the record labels. The record vinyl is machine-stamped in the
matrix area next to the labels PCS 3071 YEX 169.

shimmering black vinyl that has NO scratches or scuffs!!
