On offer here is a VERY rare EP (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Nowhere Man" by The Beatles and is a 1966 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Parlophone label!!!! THIS IS SIMPLY A MASSIVELY RARE EP IN EVERY RESPECT!!!! THIS IS THE BEATLES RAREST EP BY FAR - AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS EP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER - WITH 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACKS ON THE COVER REVERSE!!!! WHEN THIS EP WAS FIRST RELEASED THERE WERE 2 STYLES OF COVER BEING USED: THE 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACK VERSION, AND THE 'STRAIGHT' FLIPBACK VERSION. HOWEVER THE 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACK COVERS WERE STOPPED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND THIS EP WITH 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACKS!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS EP IS IN GREAT CONDITION TOO!!!! THIS THE 1966 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, A 'KT' TAX CODE, 1ST PRESS PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS EP IS EASILY THE RAREST BEATLES EP, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACKS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label and is in GREAT condition!!!! The matrix numbers are 7TCE 904-1 & 7TCE 905-1!!!! The Cat No is GEP 8952. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The record is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s EPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, 2 or 3 light scufflines and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL and only some VERY slight low level background noise (though this is ONLY audible on the run on grooves and gaps - NOT in the music!!!! There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The MEGA RARE 1st Press LAMINATED 'Rounded' Flipback Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, and barely ANY corner wear (NOT through the colour)!!!! The cover front looks BRILLIANT with shiny laminate only a few light creases (cover front is still VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!! Also on the unlaminated back there are a couple of vertical creases - though these appear to be from manufacture - as they almost run under the the top/bottom flipback and are certainly NOT a major detraction!!!! The back cover also has NO yellowing to the actual reverse of the cover - though there is some yellowing in places to the top/bottom flipbacks. Importantly though there is NO laminate loss ANYWHERE on this cover and the VERY rare 'rounded' flipbacks are FULLY intact!!!! The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS IS THE BEATLES RAREST EP BY FAR AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND WITH 'ROUNDED' FLIPBACKS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
