MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR
CAPITOL MONO MAL-2835
--------------------------------------------
This is THE ORIGINAL CAPITOL MONO version of MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR. It was released November 27,1967. By this time stereo was much more in vogue and MONO demand and supply were dwindling. MONO's usually command three times the price of the stereos because they are few and far between.
-----------------------------------------------------------
This is a first run cover and mistakenly credits publishing on all of the album's songs to "Maclen Music, Ind, BMI." It is also a first run record/labels crediting BMI for all songs. This is the West Coast, Jacksonvillve in-house label, which has the complete matrix numbers.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Labels are NM-. NO writing,NO erasures,NO stickers and NO tears.
Record is VG+. Looks "shiny" and new. There are two hairline marks on Side 1 about 1 and 1/2" long and a 3/4" mark. Side 2 has a 1 and 1/2" very faint hairline mark and a 1/2" mark. I cannot feel any of these areas. The record does not skip.
Cover is VG+. NO splits, NO tears, NO writing, NO erasures. Faint wear to the back at uppermost area where the natural bulge in cover is. A 3/8 inch crack in lower white strip on the back about two inches from the edge.
----------------------------------------------------------
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the RARE CAPITOL MONO MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR ALBUM VG+ with NM-labels!!! By this time stereos probably outnumber the monos 5 to 1 and that may be an underestimate.
Reserve only a very low $99.99 (I bought a new guitar and need to part with a few gems to pay for the Yairi!!!)
