The Beatles - "Let It Be" Underground Sounds Records LP 101. Super Hard To Find Original Vinyl version of this great Outtakes album from the Fab Four! As I understand the story behind this one (and there aren't any liner notes, I'm just going by the info I can gather), these cuts are from the original Glyn Johns productions/mixes of what was intended to be the "Get Back" album before it was shelved and eventually given to Phil Spector to produce (the only non-George Martin produced Beatle record) and which eventually emerged as "Let It Be". Many of the tracks on this album are considered superior to the release by collectors because of the candid nature of the recordings. It also seems that this B00t actually was released BEFORE the legit version of "Let It Be"! Interesting stuff and certainly a must for collectors!

In pretty nice condition! The cover shows some slight ring storage wear, some fairly extensive edge wear and the corners are all a little dinged. It also appears that the cover may have gotten wet in the lower right portion of the opening edge. There is no stain, mildew or any other sort of actual "damage" but the cover shows some sort of "wrinkling" (for lack of a better word) in that area. Of course it may just be some sort of error in the paste up of the cover... In any case, it is almost unnoticeable from the front and hard to see on the back. Overall, the cover is still very solid - no splits, tears, bends, etc. and the groovy artwork still looks great! I would say that even with the flaws it should still rate a VG but please use your judgement! Please note - any marks, streaks or blotches that you may see which are not mentioned in the write up (like those in the upper right corner of the cover) are scanner artifacts, not defects in the record cover... I will list any actual defects! The Vinyl is very nice! You can spot a few light scuffs if you really look close (and have good eyes...). There are a few visible spindle trails on the label (all on one side) but I'd guess that the record was really not ever played much. In nice clean condition and easily VG+! The labels are also Near Mint other than the aforementioned light spindle trails!

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.

Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

One other caveat... As most of you looking at this will know, some of these old Private, Fan, Underground LPs don't have the greatest recording fidelity or pressing quality. Of course, some are really nice. In any case, I assume that if you bid that you understand this. I am not responsible for any potential disappointments in sound quality. Even more than usual, these are graded strictly on a visual basis.

I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over eleven years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
