Description

This is a very nice 2nd pressing (Matrix 579/80-4) of the BEATLES 'RUBBER SOUL' album n the black/yellow PARLOPHONE label, cat# PMC 1267 (MONO). The triple flipback G&L front-laminated cover is in very VERY Near mint condition, with no faults, flaws or blemishes. The labels are nice and clean, the silver text sharp and clear. There is some spindle-marking. The side 1 label carries the 'KT' code. With 'Sold in UK..' and 'Gramophone company..' text. The vinyl itself is in lovely condition, with plenty of sheen and just 1 non-sounding light mark side 2 crossing tracks 6 and 7. This disc has been thoroughly play-tested on a KONIG KN TT-20 deck and sounds just great! This album was a turning point in the BEATLES career, showing a greater maturity and paving the way for REVOLVER and later masterpieces.
