The Beatles LP - Please Please Me. Black and yellow Parlophone mono release, catalogue number PMC 1202, matrix numbers XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N.

The record is in EX condition. It looks like is has been played quite a few times, but the vinyl has been very well looked after. There are only a few very light surface marks, and it sounds superb, with just minor crackle on the lead-ins, and the very occasional click and pop.
The Ernest J Day laminated flipback sleeve is EX-/VG+. There are no tears, no writing, no edge scuffing (although see comment re damage to bottom edge) and a perfectly legible spine.There is scuffing to the corners, creasing to the top left corner of the front and towards the opening edge, and damage to the bottom edge at the right hand corner. The back is very slightly grubby, more so on the flipbacks. They have not come unglued, even though they look like they have in the picture.
The original poly-lined "Emitex" inner sleeve has only minor discolouration, and some ceasing to the bottom corners.
I think this is a very nice copy, despite the defects to the sleeve.
