THE LPS:

The VICTOR super vinyl lps all look to be in great condition!  These lps play better as time goes on as the super vinyl breaks in to your stylus.  This is explained fully on the warranty card.  These lps are just fabulous for sound.  I have not play tested every lp in this set, although, I have visually inspected each very carefully.   I am sure it will play beautifully as these lps are in beautiful condition. 

THE BOX:

The brass hinges and clasp are in fine shape and work perfectly. The doors close nice and tight.  The gold lettering is in super shape without any wear or fading.  The box does have some damage repair on a couple of seams on the doors.  You can see from the pics that these have been expertly repaired and are just minor cosmetic issues. . The inside contents have not been damaged or marred in any way.  Looking for a unbelievable player for set at no reserve?  You have found it. 

The contents of the beautiful gold-lettered box includes:

1.   A full-sized, full color, brochure of all 13 lp covers  (The White LP was 2 lps which make 14)  is also NM. 

2.   Includes all of the  cardboard inserts and rice paper inner sleeves, and lps.

3.  Certificate of authenticity. 

4. Also includes the GEO DISC cartridge alignment tool for your turntable.

5.  I will also include a super quality reproduction of a rare MOBILE FIDELITY letter about the release of the set that was sent to retailers.

6.  A reproduction of the  1982 LA Hearald news article about the release of the box set!

7.  I will also include GORGEOUS, heavy paper stock and COLORFUL reproduction of an ULTRA RARE MOBILE FIDELITY PROMO BROCHURE promoting the box set to retailers!  (see pics below).

The LP are Half-Speed Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System from the Original Stereo Master Tapes.
