Welcome to my auction! You are bidding on a hard-to-find collection of four pictures discs featuring a four-part interview with The Beatles. Released in 1988 by BAKTABAK RECORDS in London, England. Item # BAKPAK 1004. A-side of each record has a solo image of either John, Paul, George, or Ringo. The back image is the same on all four records. The records have never been played, and have been stored in a smoke-free environment in their original vinyl holder.
The newspaper-like header lists the contents of the records as follows: "This collection documents The Beatles’ first visit to America and includes interviews with the group. A leading American DJ during the ‘60s, Murray ‘The K’, was one of the first to play Beatles’ records on American radio (W.I.N.S. New York). He became a good friend of the group and can be heard here talking in his ever relaxed manner to John, Paul, George and Ringo in New York, Washington, Miami and, on their return to London, on the set of A Hard Day’s Night. This is a Baktabak Limited Edition. Catalogue Number: BAKPAK 1004. It was manufactured in England by: Tabak Marketing Limited, Swan Centre, Fishers Lane, London W4 1RX."
