Description
This is a very rare Scranton pressing of The Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night/I Should Have Known Better," Capitol 5222. It is considered the rarest variation of Capitol 5222 and one of the rarest Beatles 45s on the Capitol swirl label. The A-side has the title on two lines and features both the Maclen and Unart publishing credits. There is no subsidiary print along the perimeter and the matrix numbers are stamped in the deadwax.
Condition is NM-, super clean with very high gloss. Labels do show some very light wear and the A-side has a numbered sticker under scotch tape and a small green label affixed. Both sides play fantastically with barely any surface noise, and you can tell this record was barely ever listened to by its previous owner. Comes in the original Capitol sleeve with does have a few wrinkles and some minor discoloration but is in otherwise excellent condition with no splits or tears.
Payment is due in full 7 days after the end of the auction. Please check out my other auctions this week for an eclectic variety of 45s!
