DESCRIPTION :-

This LP is possibily the rarest and most sought after non UK issued Beatles vinyl record there is! I bought it in the early 90's has an investment for my children but as they have grown up they have shown no interest in my record collection etc. so I'm selling it!

IT IS THE GENUINE ARTICLE AND NOT A FAKE COPY !

Only 300 were ever pressed in Denmark ONLY then NO more! It is desired and craved by Beatles Collectors because the sound quality is recognised as been one of the best ever pressed on vinyl. The state of the art recording equiptment used by the Skandinavisk Grammophon Aktieselskab pressing plant helped produce a recording of 12 tracks which are recognised as one of the highest quality fidelity pressings ever! Crystal clear bass and high frequency notes abound!

CONDITION/GRADING:-

VINYL

The playing surfaces on BOTH sides ( examined under bright natural light with the naked eye) are EXCELLENT. There are visible " angel hair " surface marks and very light surface marks but NO scratches of note. The labels are BOTH near to perfect and crystal clear with minimal spindle trails and NO damage whatsoever. The sound quality is excellent with only a few audible pops between a few tracks. Finding this quality is very difficult and although not the perfect example ( if such a copy exists ? ) this is a very tidy example of such a rarity.

SLEEVE

When you first look at the FRONT sleeve face on it looks in at least excellent condition. The laminated sleeve is fully intact without any folds , peeling or cracking. After further scrutiny the following faults exist :- A couple of edge scuffs and a very tiny tear about 4 inches up on the opening edge ( approx 3 mm ).Other than that the front is very clear, clean and tidy. The REAR has residue left from tape on all four sides of the flipback seam. About 3 inches of the closed flipback seam is also missing causing a edge split the same length. There is also a further edge rip halfway up the closed seam ( just visible on photo approx 3mm in size.) Again not perfect but I have seen far far worse examples offered for sale.

GRADING CRITERIA - I use strict rules to grade every vinyl record I sell. Unfortunately as I own 10,000 or so records it is impossible for me to play every one before I place them for auction. I carefully scrutinise every record in bright daylight and give a fair and unbiased appraisal of condition based on what I see. Grading of vinyl is a very emotive subject and what one collector thinks does not always concur with somebody elses grading evaluation. In order to offer the very best collectors' demand - I ONLY EVER SELL RECORDS GRADED EXCELLENT OR BETTER ( unless its something very rare and valuable). I am a collector myself and have been for over 30 years so I would like to think I have some expertise and knowledge of grading vinyl.
