LABEL AND SERIAL NUMBER: PMC 1255XEX.549

CONDITION: VYNAL:EXCELLENT/LABELS ARE EXCELLENT HOWEVER SOME SLIGHT MARKS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY A AN AUTO-DROP(?) BARELY DISCERNABLE HOWEVER

CONDITION: SLEEVE:THE SLEEVE IS NEAR FACTORY FRESH, BRILLIANT WHITE WITH NO MARKS

OTHER COMMENTS:THIS WAS PURCHASED BY MY MOTHER IN THE UK IN 1965.I THINK SHE PLAYED IT TWICE/ITS A FABULOUS COPY

The Sound of Vynal:

I have been collecting records for over 50 years. I have been sharing my obsession on ebay since 2002 . As a record collector, self nominated audiophile and looney  I know what I expect when I buy a record for my own collection, obviously I will make every effort to describe , handle, care, pack and pray to ensure that all buyers are happy with their purchases.  Please send me an email if there is an issue.In my experience there is always an element of surface or background sound with audio reproduction on vinyl, even when new - very hard to imagine how there could not be when two solid surfaces come into contact with each other and are then amplified! In my opinion anybody who claims there is no surface sound, or ‘silence’, is hard of hearing, has not turned the amplifier on, or is using very poor quality audio equipment. Almost all used vinyl has at least light surface scratches which are always visible. So if you are uncomfortable with a bit of light crackling it’s probably best not to buy vinyl. In my opinion the light surface sound is more than compensated for by the clarity and ‘reality’ of the overall sound reproduction.
