Item Description:
In the most REMARKABLE condition that we have seen, and purchased from an Ex-Music Industry employee, this Original UK First Issue DEMONSTRATION Vinyl 45 for The Beatles Number 1 Hit Single 'From Me To You/Thank You Girl' was released by PARLOPHONE UK in 1963.
This Original UK FIRST ISSUE Demonstration Record is on the Official Parlophone Label, with a White Background, Black Print and a large Red 'A' to A-side. The B-side displays a white background with black print. Both sides of the record labels are printed 'The Parlophone Co Ltd' label rim together with 'Demonstration Record Not For Sale' and 'Northern Songs Limited'. The Demonstration Vinyl 45 comes in an Original, Rare ‘TOP POP’ PROMOTIONAL Sleeve.
Official Dead Wax Stampers and Matrix Information:
Side 1 matrix: 7XCE 17329-1N/Side 2: 7XCE 17330-1N.
Side 1 stampers: 'MT', 'JR'/Side 2: 'MT', 'JR'.
Grading Assessment:
Both record labels are in EXCEPTIONAL **mint** condition, a beautifully PRESERVED, UNDAMAGED set of record labels, with NO writing, NO stickers, NO deterioration. Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in OUTSTANDING **mint** condition! Both sides of the Vinyl are totally UNWORN and GLEAM like NEW. Since a tremendous amount of interest would have been generated in this Single, following the success of both 'Love Me Do' and 'Please Please Me', it is really quite REMARKABLE that this Demo has survived in such PRISTINE condition. The TOP POP Sleeve too has survived in INCREDIBLE condition, a SUPER example, with NO seam splits, NO tearing or handwriting, and just a little inevitable light creasing.
Play Quality:
Both sides of the Demonstration Vinyl 45 play **mint**, a SUPERB, WARM, RICH sound, with NO skips, jumps, clicks or distortion. The 45 sits 100% flat on the turntable.
