BEATLES. Mexico. Late 80s! EMI logo on the bottom of the label. BEATLES FOR SALE! Standard UK version which by late 80s was also the US version. 14 songs from December 1964. Early Beatles format of half rock and roll covers, and half Lennon-McCartney originals! No Harrison written songs on this LP. The “5” on the front cover inside the letter “0” represents “volume 5” in the Mexico series of Beatles albums. Mentioned on the back side also. This record grades as Goldmine EX, my highest grade. Virtually unplayed!! No issues! One interesting quirk. I was play testing for Stereo, because when records are marked “Estereo” you never know (see Brazil 45s), and noticed that Mister Moonlight is MONO! Crazy! All 13 others are confirmed Stereo. See photos. Also this is pressed on thinner, not thicker vinyl like earlier editions. Originally this album was on Musart label in 1964, then Capitol Black Rainbow labels by 1966, then Green Capitol Target labels in 70s, and then earlier EMI Tan labels in early 80s, EMI logo on top of label.
