RARE!! “Beatles for Sale” LP. Original 1964 UK.Parl.
Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!! !!!STEREO!!! NM.
Up for auction is this superb original FIRST PRESSING – STEREO!! “Beatles for Sale” album on the yellow/black UK Parlophone label. You don’t often see these coming up for sale and in this stunning condition, very rarely. Do not miss this!!
This example is quite superb and you would be hard pushed to find one better. Just amazing.
COVER: EX++/NM. Unusually well kept for this album which of course was notorious for buckling and feathering on the single page side of the gatefold. Not so with this example!!
VINYL: Absolutely superb. Sill retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong NM.
LABELS: Deep rich colours. No writing or any other indiscretions. Just a couple of light spindle trails. Beautiful. Graded. A very strong NM.
MATRIX NUMBERS: SIDE ONE: YEX-142-1
SIDE TWO: YEX-143-1
(Side one matrix was incorrectly stamped as YEX-143 and has been corrected in the factory and over-stamped with the correct matrix YEX-142.
STAMPERS: SIDE ONE : 4 GL
SIDE TWO : 1 UN - making this a very early First Pressing Stereo.
INNER SLEEVE: Correct ‘Emitex’ inner. Excellent.
AUDIO: Just superb in this condition, as you would expect. Faultless. Beautiful clear STEREO sounds. Amazing!!
To sum up. This example of one of the best Beatles albums of all time is of course near mint as described. The sounds are superb and truly classic. This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history - and enjoy!!
