Here we have a very rare and exclusive demonstration record (Red A on both sides!) by The Beatles. Demonstration Records by The Beatles are the rarest Beatles items in existance and there are very few of them left. This record comprises of two songs as an A side and B side, they are A SIde. Paperback Writer B Side. Rain From Irish Radio DJ's ‘Bp Fallon’ collection, who worked for the Beatles, particulary later with Apple and actually mimed playing bass guitar on Instant Karma on Top of the Pops. He recieved this record when he was working alongside them. http://www.bpfallon.com/about_bp.html It is on the Parlophone Label (Northern Songs) and reads DEMONSTRATION RECORDS / NOT FOR SALE The catalogue number is R5452 The matrix code on the record is 7xce18380 - 2 There is also the marking KT on the “Rain” side and the marking G on the “Paperback Writer” side. As you can see the centre has been knocked out as the Dj would have done this to play on his turntable at the time. Other than that the record is in very good condition for its age and plays very well. Both sides have very slight surface marks. The record is in the original Parlophone Sleeves with all the EMI information on the reverse.
