Description
THE BEATLES BOX IS A VERY RARE JAPANESE IMPORT. IT WAS ISSUED IN DECEMBER 1981 BY EMI / ODEON.
THE BOX IS DESIGNED LIKE A WOOD SHIPPING CRATE. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, WITH A VIVID IMAGE AND COLOR (SEE PHOTOS). THERE ARE A FEW MINOR SCRATCHES ON THE BACK AND A FEW MINOR WEAR POINTS ON THE EDGES AND TOP.
IT CONTAINS EIGHT LPS WITH PICTURE SLEEVES BOTH OF WHICH ARE IN MINT CONDITION. THEY HAVE BLACK PARLOPHONE / ODEON LABELS.
THIS COLLECTION IS LIKE THE BRITISH ISSUE EXCEPT IT HAS A 20 PAGE BOOKLET WITH LYRICS IN ENGLISH AND JAPANESE. ALSO, THERE IS A 12 PAGE SONG CRONOLOGY BY THE BAND IN JAPANESE. I BELIEVE THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST ISSUES BECAUSE OF THE INSERTS WHICH AREN'T IN OTHERS.
The record has been kept in air-conditioned, no smoking space; and played 2 or 3 times on a high quality turntable/cartridge set up. I use Goldmine to grade my records.
I will accept bids on the following conditions:
- You may choose one of the shipping methods offered by the U.S. Post Office or UPS.
- Whatever the cost is, of the shipping method you choose, is the amount I will bill you for shipping, plus $5 for packaging materials and handling.
-
It is your choice whether to insure your shipment and you will take the responsibility for shipping damage or a lost shipment. I will furnish you with copies of whatever paperwork I receive from the shipper, based on the shipping method of your choice, and you will file whatever claim forms may be required, and accept whatever insurance payments you may receive, as full compensation for any loss you may suffer. Since I have no control over the item once it is shipped, I will not make any refunds because of shipping damage or a lost shipment.
