Description
Here we have a First Pressing Black/Gold The Beatles Please Please Me. PMC 1202 in Mono. The usual Dick James Mus.co.credits, matrix XEX 421-1N and XEX 422-1N and in it's original Ernest J Day cover. (inner sleeve not original)
This record has been well played with numerous scratches but there are no jumps or sticks, it plays perfectly. I have to say how impressed I was with the sound quality, the fidelity is surprising.
The cover has seen better days and looks a bit battered including a 6" split at the top and a 3" one at the bottom. The 3" split is due to a piece of the foldover missing. The spine is surprisingly good "Please Please Me The Beatles" is clear,in fact the spine is very good only splitting at half an inch both ends. No attempt has been made to repair with sellotape. There is 85p in pen on the back at the top and just below that it looks like £1.30 scribbled out in pen.
