Artist/Composer: The Beatles
Title: The Black Album
Release Date and Label: 1981 (I believe) on EVA Records.
Comments: Very rare 3-LP set with outtakes and demos from the White Album / Let It Be / Abbey Road era. Packaged just like the white album, with The Beatles in embossed, raised lettering on the front of the gatefold packaging.
Condition: All 3 LPs are in near-mint (-) condition. The only complaint could be some small bubble-like flaws on the vinyl brought about by over-quick cooling. There are not many, and mostly are on Side A. Bubbles don't cause skipping or anything else, in my experience. Otherwise, these records are gorgeous. Packaging is in very good condition (see pics) with some minor shelf wear and some creasing on the inside of the gatefold. Also, on the back section of the gatefold, there is some slight seperation on the bottom right hand corner along the flap (again, see pics). Spine info is: TWK 0169 A IYHO-10
Vinyl Grading System: (borrowed from one of my favorite shops)
MINT - Album & cover are as new, no marks of any kind.
NEAR MINT - Album & cover appear almost new, may have slight marks or blemishes in vinyl, but should sound perfect (no surface noise).
VERY GOOD - Album & cover have marks, but should play well (slight surface noise).
GOOD - Album & cover have lots of marks, record may have 'pops' & 'clicks' but should play through without skipping.
FAIR - Album & / or cover are in very poor condition, record may skip.
