Description/Notes: VERY VERY RARE ......a true nugget !!  A 12" metal acetate record with songs on both sides, but the tracks are not named. There are 4 tracks on one side and 5 tracks on the other side (Sides A or B are not named on labels) . I don't know which songs are on this record. I have not played it all through because each time a metal acetate is played, the soft surface is degraded to a degree. I did partially play the 1st song on each side ( = CAN'T BUY ME LOVE on one of sides and THINGS WE SAID TODAY on other side) , just to confirm that it is a Beatles record and also to get a snapshot idea of the sound quality.  Although there are many scattered scuffs and marks on both sides and some hairline scratches , the sound is bright, loud and clear with some light crackling and minimal surface "swishing" sound...the surface is quite glossy and labels appear unmarked or damaged. One of labels has a small sticker (see picture). Overall, the condition is quite lovely considering it's age and vulnerability. I do not know why all the album tracks are not on this record despite being housed in the original album cover ...perhaps some type of in-house record company test record ??  Has EMI PROMO STICKER on top right corner of front cover (see picture), a studio name handwritten on back cover , top right corner (see picture). I will try to set up a soundbyte sample of this record within the next few days, am not really sure how to do it yet. 100% guaranteed authentic . Please email for any questions.

RECORD GRADING

We use the Goldmine Magazine standard with a part of  Discoveries Magazine grading system. That means that there's a grade between NM and VG+ = EX.
We may also, in some cases, add an extra + or extra - to a grade if we feel it necessary.

COVER

EX >  Has a minor flaw (s) not easily visible
VG+ > Has a small visible flaw.
VG > Has multiple small flaws.
VG- > some serious flaws.

All flaws, such as ringwear, creasing, stickers, tears, handwriting, sticker removal damage, punch holes, saw-cuts etc, will be noted in the description part of the listing.

VINYL

FACTORY SEALED > Brand new, never opened, perfect in every way.
NM (near mint) > Opened, may be played or unplayed, no visible flaws. 
EX (Excellent) > Played, but sparingly, vinyl is still very shiny, may have a few sleeve scuffs. 
VG+ (Very Good +) > Played, but well taken care of, may have  light scuff marks, light hairline scratches.  Still shiny.
VG (Very Good) > Very played, will have minor scratches which will probably be audible.
VG- (Very Good -) > Played a LOT. Will have more than minor scratches, but will play through. Only listed if very rare. (Garage sale record)
G (Good) > Will play through but with substantial deterioration of the sound. We won't waste your time by listing any UNLESS, the record is extremely rare.

You, being a collector are surely aware that in some cases, old thick vinyl can appear visually scratched up, but sound a lot better than it looks when played ....we will make a note of this in the description if it occurs.

LABEL
Labels will not be graded, but defects like handwriting, sticker damage etc will be noted in description.

Unless otherwise noted, all items are graded visually. Please understand that it is not humanly possible to play-grade hundreds of items at a time. We grade each item conservatively and honestly. If we do make an unintentional grading error and you are not satisfied, we promise to try our absolute best effort to ensure your satisfaction, so please contact us if there is a problem with your purchase.
