Description
This is an incredibly exciting listing for collectors of rare vinyl. This acetate, quite possibly the only one in existence, contains a version of Neil Sedaka's 'Standing on the Inside' from c. 1969. Pressed on the Beatles' own Apple label, this 'custom copy' was possibly the result of a friendship between George Harrison and Sedaka in the late 60s. If this is true, then it is likely that George himself would have facilitated the creation of this rare issue.
Apple themselves have been contacted but nobody there was able to offer a meaningful ballpark evaluation.
I have now been contacted by the person who actually cut the record at Apple and he can confirm that this is the only copy of this in exsistence.
Make no mistake...this is collector's Solid Gold!!
The record is in a used but good condition, and is a one-sided acetate.
