What you have here is a very rare LP THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD and in NEAR MINT,  UNPLAYED CONDITION, FIRST PRESS, FACTORY SAMPLE and is the ORIGINAL 1969 UK EARLIEST 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dark Apple label, FACTORY SAMPLE PROMO !!!!

Just try and find another copy in this NEAR MINT condition, These albums were played by fans the second they were bought, and played a lot, so to find a NEAR MINT COPY is near impossible.

This copy is the earliest and rarest first pressing without the "Her Majesty" credit on side 2 label, which was soon changed in later pressings, and as a result was only pressed like this for a very short time before the mistake was corrected and as a result is near impossible to find.

As if that was not enough this copy is a 100% genuine "FACTORY SAMPLE - NOT FOR SALE" copy, and comes from an ex-industry person that used to work with the band, this is the genuine pointed  FACTORY SAMPLER sticker which was not touched or changed in any way since the day of printing.

These copies with the FACTORY SAMPLE sticker were the first off the press in the factory and were only given to industry people (like the person this copy comes from), so another proof that this is FIRST PRESSING off the pressing plant.

So to re-cap : this is a NEAR MINT / NEAR MINT first pressing with the "Her Majesty" credit missing on the DARK APPLE label, and a FACTORY SAMPLE first press to boot, you will not find another, or a better condition copy of this great BEATLES record.

The matrix numbers are: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1 , stamper numbers are (9 and 3 o'clock positions): 3  GLG & 9 GPD, The Cat. No is PCS 7088.

Label/Format: Apple Records - FACTORY SAMPLE.

Label Condition: Very close to MINT, There is only 1 faint spindle trace. No wear at all around the hole areas. This classic album has clearly hardly been played. (Please see label scans for all information needed), the labels are the correct labels on both sides, as opposed to the VINYL itself.

Cat Number: PCS 7088.

Mono or Stereo: Stereo (this was never issued in mono).

Country of Manufacture: England, UK.

Rarity: First pressing DARK APPLE label, with no "Her Majesty" on side 2 label, and FACTORY SAMPLE first press.

Original Year of Release: 1969.

Matrix Nos: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1.

Stamper Codes: 3  GLG & 9 GPD.

Cover Grade and Format: MINT-, no sign of use, looks like the day it was pressed, fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve.

Cover Front: Near Mint (hardly any ring wear).

Cover Back: The virtually perfect backside that has hardly any trace of ringwear, NEAR MINT.

Top Edge: Virtually unworn.

Bottom Edge: Virtually unworn.

Right Edge(s), and Type: Clean, sharp with no wear.

Spine and Text: Solid and square with little wear up to the very last centimeter, text is perfect and unworn.

Corners: Barely any wear on the any corner.

Cover Summary: A superb all round example you will struggle to get any better, Near Mint overall.

Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: Mint-  A superb visual copy. Super clean, shiny, jet black and very solidly pressed, thicker than later pressings for sure. Hardly a significant mark to be seen.

Sound Quality and Audio Grading: This record plays like the day it was pressed MINT-.

Inner Sleeve: Comes with the original white inner sleeve in M- condition.
