Description

 THE BEATLES
2nd Open End Interview
DJ Compact 33EP with Super RARE picture sleeve
Capitol Compact 33 pro-2598

This record and picture sleeve is ranked as the 23rd most valuable Beatles record in the US. There were ONLY a couple hundred manufactured to begin with! There are believed to be only 10 left in this NM condition.
Released in April 1964, this record was given to DJ's to promote The Beatles Second Album.
Includes #1 "Please Mr.Postman"
#2 "Thank You Girl"
Open-End Interview with the BEATLES and "Roll Over Beethoven" on side 1
This EP was the second of only two Beatle Open-End Interview EP's that Capitol ever issued. This is rarer than the first open-end interview EP. The idea was to have the radio listeners believe that the Beatles were at the studio and talking about the album. The back of the picture sleeve contained all of the questions for the DJ to say on the air and the Beatles answered the questions by the DJ playing the disc. This record and sleeve are guarenteed to be original from 1964. I bought this record from the late Joe Pope of "Strawberry Fields Forever" Beatles Fansize Fame in the late 70's.

Condition of the record is Near Mint. The vinyl shines like a mirror. I only played it once when I 1st purchased it. SO it is practically unplayed.
Picture Sleeve condition is NM- due to a faint record impression and a few minute wrinkles. These are the ONLY blemishes
.
Starting bid will be $499.99 with a reasonable reserve.
I will be including insurance with the shipping and handling charges of $12.00. I will  ship to Canada, Japan and US ONLY. I accept paypal but if you contact me BEFORE YOU BID and make arrangements with me I will consider taking MO's.

I have sold many expensive original rare Beatles records so you can be sure this is the real deal. I have been collecting and dealing in Beatles memorabilia since the 60's and once appeared in my hometown newspaper for my huge impressive collection. I consider myself to be very knowledgeble on the Beatles. But you can read my feedback and see for yourself what I sell and what my buyers think.
THANK YOU!
