'The BEATLES 1967-1970' is a RARE Limited Edition BLUE VINYL DOUBLE Album on the APPLE Label, pressed in Japan (1973).
Popularly known as 'The Blue Album' it offers superb stereo sound and captures the essence of the Beatles final recordings together.
Complete with a perfect original OBI and inserts including booklet and lyrics on blue paper inner sleeves, housed in a beautiful, strong GATEFOLD cover.
Picking up where the 1962-1966 'Red Album' finished, this double-album compilation of 1967-1970, known as 'The Blue Album' covers the Beatles' later records, from Sgt. Pepper's through to their final Album 'Let It Be' with fresh stereo mixes specifically for this album pressed for APPLE label on high quality Japanese vinyl.
VINYL: Near MINT condition pressed on high quality Japanese vinyl. Both records are absolutely beautiful BLUE Vinyl with no scratches, marks or scuffs. They shine like they are still new.
OBI: Original wide Obi Strip in near MINT condition. The completely intact, 100mm multi-coloured Obi strip is smooth and shiny with no splits or tears. It is so good that I want to describe it as MINT, but I have to settle for near mint or NM+.
INSERTS: Sleeves and lyrics on BLUE paper inner sleeves.
The two Original BLUE Paper record sleeves have the lyrics in English on each side of the sleeve. No tears or rips, and in perfect near MINT condition.
There is also the Original Four Page fold-out booklet with pictures, no tears or rips and no age spots, in perfect near MINT condition.
COVER: Original, glossy Gatefold Photo Cover in near MINT condition, constructed from strong, high quality cardboard. Cover has the famous colour photograph of the group looking down over the stairwell inside EMI House.
LABELS: Clean, bright vintage Apple Labels, no spindle marks.
