After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. This auction is for an original 1966 UK Stereo 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'Revolver' on the Parlophone label! Features the 'Dr,' sleeve and 'Doctor' label.
Stereo LPs of the Beatles albums before 1967 are harder to find than their mono counterparts because stereo record players cost more than mono players back in the day, and stereo records cost more than mono. Therefore, more mono copies sold than stereo. It wasn't until '67, when these two factors were done away with, that mono instantly became an obsolete format.
A hard to find, original stereo pressing of this fantastic album! Not in top shape, but still a respectible copy!

The sleeve is holding up okay but is showing its age a little. The front cover has yellowed a little with some extra browning down the spine side. There's some light laminate creases too. Top and bottom seams are holding tight. The spine has browned a little and has some laminate creases running through it, but is holding tight with no splits and is fully legible. Back cover has worn slightly leaving a ligth disc impression. There's also some dirt buildup on the overflaps. Overall, looking okay. Disc : VG-
The playing surface has lost some of its shine and is covered in light scuffs along with a couple of slightly heavier looking marks..

The labels are showing some light wear. There's a sticker mark on the side 1 labels, some moderate, light spindlewear and a wlittle whitening around the centrehole on each label.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
