The Beatles - 'Rubber Soul' LP. PMC 1267
The Beatles 1965 UK MONO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Rubber Soul' LP. Released on the 3rd December 1965, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE with the very earliest stampers/mothers to BOTH SIDES - 1G/1G.
In addition this is the desirable XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5 matrix version. It is therefore one of the 1st 300 (5/5 matrix) off the production line. WOW!
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text and have ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd’ rim print. The ‘KT’ tax code is embossed on the side one label. The vinyl is housed within the original Emitex inner sleeve and front laminated outer sleeve. A superb Beatles 1G/1G factory sample rarity.

Side 1. XEX 579-5 1 G
Side 2. XEX 580-4 1 G
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition.
The labels are in EXCELLENT- condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. BUT name written neatly on the back.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Name written neatly on one side and ’30’ written on on the other. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
