Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for an extremely rare and highly collectible Australian 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'With The Beatles'. This particular pressing features the famous Parlophone Gold on Black label design!
Australia Parlophone were using the same gold style label design as the UK when Please Please Me came about in 1963. However, although the UK phased their gold style labels out after the first few weeks of production of Please Please Me, Australia continued to implement it until just after the release of With The Beatles when the label was soon changed to the more common yellow on black design.
Only the first, early presses of the LP had the older style gold on black labels before the labels were changed, and so are very hard to find today!

The cover is holding up okay but does have cosmetic wear and tear as you can see from the photos above. The front has a nice colour and has some dirt buildup on the semi-laminate. There's noticeable disc impression and creasing around the edges and corners. Top and bottom seams have a little wear, and some little creases running through them, but hasn't split or torn. The spine has a number of little creases running through it but hasn't split and all the text is fully legible. The back has yellowed and has disc impression, light browning down the mouth edge and some light stains at the top right corner. Like I say, holding well but with some cosmetic issues. The playing surface is looking good with a decent shine and just some light scuffing in places along with one or two very slightly heavier looking scuffs. Nothing at all serious though.

The labels are clean and the gold print is looking pretty bright! Usually the gold print is faded! There's some light rubs in places along with some light spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Overall, nice labels!.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
