Description

This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the RARE sole LP (not counting archival releases) by American group Bead Game, released in 1970. The group was from the Boston suburb of Cambridge, and evolved out of soul/rock group Freedom Express, who released an LP on the Mercury label the previous year. Bead Game's sound, however, bridged late '60s pop/rock and progressive rock. The jacket is close to M- with light staining along the edge on the back cover (see photo), and light corner, bottom seam, and edge wear (EX). “Not for Sale/Promotion Use Only” is stamped on the back cover (see photo). The disc is clean with light scuffing/loss of glossiness, and plays with some light surface noise and crackling, and a stray light pop (mostly on side 1) (EX-). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.

I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
