Description
Up for auction are five Beach Boys one-sided acetates on "Capitol" labels. Titles are Be True to your School, In My Room, Little Saint Nick, Papa Oom Mow Mow and Louie Louie. I purchased these in the early 1990s from a serious & knowledgeable Beach Boys collector/dealer; each acetate has numerous radio station markings, but their authenticity has never been proved. Buyer beware!
Condition: some chinagraph markings on dead wax (notating cuepoints), some areas of “fading” on vinyl not affecting play, but no other serious issues. EX.
