Description

BEACH BOYS "PET SOUNDS" LPZ-2006 (stereo)

180g vinyl

DCC Compact Classics, launched by Marshall Blonstein in 1986, became the premier audiophile imprint in the marketplace, and a mainstay in the reissue arena into the 90s.  Long considered to be the definitive pressings of their classic rock, pop and jazz discography.

Engineered by the master team of Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, who are still the undisputed kings of LP manufacture to this day (currently kept very busy by RTI/Warner/Cisco/S&P and many other audiophile vinyl labels).

This copy of The Beach Boys' classic "Pet Sounds" is numbered edition 3771.

This copy is graded as EX/EX in accordance with the recognised Record Collector Gradings. The cover shows signs of wear to the corners and spine, but the gloss laminate stiff cardboard sleeve is in great condition otherwise and still has  the original insert.  The cover has been removed from its original polythene sleeve and placed inside a heavier guage PVC sleeve.  The LP itself shows no signs of having been played, with the exception of the slightest of spindle marks.  As near a perfect copy we've ever seen!
