Description
You are bidding for a genuine 12” stereo BBC TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE LP
containing STEREO POP SPECIAL – 29(i) and (ii) (CN 1670/S).
The POP SPECTACULAR LP, which dates from late 1972,
features the American folk singer
TOM PAXTON
This Pop Special was recorded by the BBC at the Paris Theatre in London.
The tracks are: WASN’T THAT A PARTY; PEACE IN MY LIFE;
WHOSE GARDEN WAS THIS; OUTWARD BOUND;
I LOST MY HEART ON A 747; CORSICA JONES; ANNIE’S SONG;
RETROSPECTIVE; GOOD MORNING MR BLUE;
JESUS, YOU’RE MAKING IT BIG ON BROADWAY;
THE LAST THING ON MY MIND; JIMMY NEWMAN;
PEACE WILL COME and WHAT A FRIEND YOU ARE
An original slightly stained and creased BBC continuity sheet is included.
This 1972 disc plays very well, but is a noisy pressing,
and has a couple of light paper rub and light scratches.
It is in its yellow BBC jacket.
