This is not a live set but it is clearly detailed as to where and when this was recorded. June 9-16, 1971 at Olympic and Command Studios in London! This is indeed a great London set with a plethora of some of the best British musicians of the time but what strikes me the most is the quality of the material throughout. We also get to hear BB King on a rare acoustic guitar on the beautiful "Alexis' boogie" featuring Mr. Korner on 2nd acoustic guitar. All tracks are really well played and Gary Wright's piano riff on "Wet Hayshark" is infectious! Jim Price played and arranged the horn section wonderfully but really, it's hard to find a subpar track or anything even remotely poorly executed as all 9 tracks are top notch fusion between US Legend and awe inspired younger British bluesmen. A must have!

(b)         The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve.

(c)         The record is apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(d)         Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-       Cover shows some light yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging.   (nothing significant)

-       Cover has a tiny "wrinkle" (crease)  in one of the corners.
