Description

An unusual album of finger picking style by Robert/Bob Baxter on his own label, BAXTER and SON.  Based out of California, this gentleman was known for his songbook/manual on finger picking style of guitar playing as well as hanging out with guitar heavyweights like Ry Cooder.  A real interesting find!

After some research, we cannot find too much information on this record although it is very similar to a FOLKWAYS pressing in the cover is heavy cardboard with a pasted on front and back.  I love the way this record is designed and made and think this is an early to mid  70's pressing.  It does not have a barcode and plays great.  Catalog #BSP/LP-1001.  A real one of a kind album...vinyl is VG+ with some scuffs and small marks on both sides that pop a little but absolutely no skips.   The cover is VG with the corners being a bit bent from storage and slight peeling to the paste on front.   Check out the many photos to get a good survey on this one!  THANKS.
