Description
Artist: Bascom Lamar Lunsford
Song Titles: Dry Bones / Stepstone
Grade: VG/VG+
Description: Plays great with very little background noise but has a bit of a rough start on either side. The majority of the record plays as a solid V+, but there is an 3/4" abrasion at the end of the grooves that causes a light swish on the A-side.
Because I have had a few questions about the abrasion, I have sone my best to show this in a scan located here - http://www.venerablemusic.com/BRUN_ABR.jpg
If you look to the upper left of the label, you can see a few light colored streaks & these represent the gunk in the grooves (about the size of a quarter). The record still plays great, but this spot is audible as the needle passes over. Other than this, the record would grade as a solid V+.
