REVIEW FROM REATE YOUR MUSICArtfully constructed, dynamic in execution, and all around just really appealing. Thinkin' is the kind of album with a sound you itch for but won't show itself as easily as its contemporaries. Lots of tasteful use of vocal harmonies, they make for a real strong assault on the A side of the album. The guitar work throughout isn't particularly novel, although Peter Alongi manages to throw in some nuances that do enough to keep this band sounding distinct from the hundreds of other fuzz/wah fests of the era. 
Really where this work stands out is rhythmically: every other minute a new groove hits with spectacular results as the band stays firmly in-sync. The drumming in particular shows through strongly from front to back, keep your ears open and you'll be hearing a plethora of tasty fills throughout. 

Inevitably Thinkin' diverges a bit from its initial approach and lands squarely into more noticeably electric blues influenced songwriting. Luckily things don't get boring or uninspired as a result, those rhythmic strengths I mentioned earlier stick around the whole way through making even the more basic tracks like Searcher's Life a fun listen. Again, the vocal harmonies continue to play a big part and pull the last leg of the album to a satisfying close. 

Lots of good albums came out this year in these stylings, but I'd say Thinkin' is absolutely worth a listen among them GUITARBEARD
