This is their debut recorded live at St George's Cathedral 1971 in Perth. Includes original insert which ,many of these albums do not have.

Formed in Perth in 1970, this progressive rock outfit isgenerally regarded as one of the best of Australia's early seventies underground bands. They included the ex-New Zealand Avengers' rhythm section of Hank Davis and Eddie McDonald. Their work blended hard rock and country with jazz using complex arrangements. Their main strength was the variety of their music which could switch from gentle acoustic passages to booming heavy progressive assaults on the senses within the same song.
For an underground band they achieved good commercial success. Both their 45s were minor hits and their debut album Rock Mass For Love narrowly missed the Australian Top 20.
They also appeared on the Sunbury 1973 compilation singing Living With A Memory. They were an important part of the East Coast festival circuit in this era.
After Bakery split in 1974, Peter Walker became a studio engineer for many years. In the early nineties he played guitar on ex-ColdChisel pianist Don Walker's Catfish project.
