Description

BADFINGER’s first album was ‘MAGIC CHRISTIAN MUSIC’ which came out on Apple SAPCOR 12 on 9 January 1970.  This is an original UK 1st Pressing.

 

The tracks are: Side 1: Come And Get It, Crimson Ship, Dear Angie, Fisherman, Midnight Sun, Beautiful And Blue, Rock Of All Ages.  Side 2: Carry On ‘Til Tomorrow, I’m In Love, Walk Out In The Rain, Angelique, Knocking Down Our Home, Give It A Try, Maybe Tomorrow.  (For the American Release of this album, the tracks ‘Angelique’ and ‘Give It A Try’ were not included).

 

Sleeve notes comment: ‘”Badfinger” are four – Tom, playing bass, and Joey playing guitar, both from Liverpool, Pete on lead guitar with Mike on drums both of them born in Swansea, S. Wales.

“Badfinger” are very close to each other, living together, their life is playing together.  On this album featuring the three numbers they recorded for “The Magic Christian” film soundtrack, they offer you themselves and their music, so listen, as I have done, enjoy it – and feel close to “Badfinger”  Mal

 

The grading of this LP is as follows: the Vinyl & Cover are VG+: the Vinyl has a small surface mark on track 4, Side 2, which does not sound.  Apart from this the Vinyl is in Excellent condition.  The Cover has had slight damage: a small amount of laminate covering is missing from the original surface to the front bottom right-hand corner.  This has been sympathetically re-coloured; other than this, the Cover is in Excellent condition.
