BADFINGER “Day After Day” rare 10” APPLE ACETATE psych GEORGE HARRISON listen

Up for your consideration is a very rare 10” Badfinger acetate cut at Apple Records Inc. New York, NY in 1971. This was aquired from a famous British guitarist who wishes to remain anonymous.  This song was written by Peter Ham who also sang lead vocals on the track. George Harrison provides some fine slide guitar parts while Leon Russell is on piano. The final mix was by Todd Rundgren. This acetate is in quite nice condition considering it’s age and delicate nature. I would grade the acetate strictly as at least a strong VG+ with a handful of light inaudible hairlines on the playing surface. I did not clean this acetate before I recorded it and as you can hear it sounds very nice and clean. I have not altered the recording in any way. What you hear is exactly what you get. I don’t think it has been played very many times. The labels are clean with some minor light shelf wear. I’m not sure if this is the exact version as the lp. I have recorded the whole song so you be the judge. Overall this is a very nice original Apple 10” acetate, and these never turn up. Please check my auctions for other rock and psych records. GRADING

MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.

M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
