BACH: St. Matthew Passion. Historical recording made in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam on Palm Sunday 1939.

CARL ERB, JO VINCENT, WILLEM RAVELLI, ILONA DURIGO, LOUIS VAN TULDER, HERMAN SCHEY and others. With the Amsterdam Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Amsterdam Toonkunst Choir  and Boys'choir "Zanglust" conducted by WILLEM MENGELBERG.

Philips 6747168. Made in Holland. Maroon label. Box 3 lp's with leaflet. Records very good; box excellent, no splits.

GRADING:

M = MINT. No signs of use.

NM+ = Mint vinyl surface, few spindle marks on label.

NM = Only the very slightest signs of use.

EX = More signs of use, might have light sleeve marks or scuffs. Background noise is possible.

VERY GOOD = record displays visible signs of handling, such as loss of luster, light surface scratches, spindle trails. Some audible surface noise. VG covers may have problems like ringwear, seam splits, bent corners, stains etc.

GOOD = well played with significant surface noise. Cover flows will be apparent.
