Babla is the younger brother of Kalyandji/Anandji (from a family of nuts & dried fruit sellers!) He joined the brothers in the late 60's Contains and started to arrange the rhythm section. He did a lot of the instrumental work for Rafoo Chakkar, Bairaag and Dharmatma. Later he and his wife Kanchan became big names in the Caribbean.

This is Babla's 2nd and arguably best album: Babla 's Disco Sensation. Very tough to find. Full to the brim with incredible dope beats and samples with Moogs bleeps & beats. A true dance floor filler. There's even sitar and lounge! Listen to the audioclips! Carefully graded: Cover is nearly NM. Super reasonable starting price.

On to condition:

Cover has no writings, no tears, even no seam splits. Spine has creasing but not split. A EX+ piece but can easily be termed as a Near Mint piece.It should have been played hardly few times and sounds superbly.

Record in perfect shape.Must have been played a couple of times at the most.Almost Mint.Sleeve also in perfect order.

EXCELLENT

Has some minor paper scuff marks or putting records in and out of its sleeve has created some minor wear in the sleeve.Scuff marks on the record doesn't create any external noise at all.

VG+++

Record has visible signs of being played,have scuff marks which can be audible.Light wears on the cover and sleeve,writtings on the covers.
