This is THE "Axis Bold As Love" UK mono LP by The Jimi Hendrix Experience from 1967. It contains the rare ORANGE LYRIC INSERT in amazing condition!! This record is stunning throughout. The insert is rumoured to only be present in the first 500 presses of each the mono and stereo releases.
INSERT: NM-
The bright orange lyric insert is in stunning condition. There is only very light creasing here and there. NO tears or pen marks etc etc. This is a genuine, original insert. I can provide further photographs if required. (Unfortuantely the vibrancy of the insert doesn't seem to come across in the photos I've done!) The fold down the centre of the insert is nice and sharp. Wonderful!!
Vinyl Visual: EX+
This album looks lovely! Amazingly shiny and clean with only a couple of light marks on the vinyl surface. It has a more noticeable "scratch" on Side Two on the last track but it isn't too noticeable to be honest.
Vinyl Playing Surface: EX+
Amazing. This album always sounds great and this copy is no exception. Hardly any background noise or clicks. The only blemish is the aforementioned scratch on the last track of Side Two. It causes an audible click over most of that song, it doesn't interrupt the enjoyment of the track though, and it does not skip or jump. The rest of the album plays beautifully, and in my personal opinion... It sounds better than the stereo mix! The instruments are more defined in this mono mix, but of course that is up to personal judgement!
Vinyl Labels: EX
No spindle wear but there are spindle marks around the hole. They're not too bad as you can see in the pictures. There is also a small white, almost "scuff" at the top of Side Two's label. Overall the labels are in Excellent condition - no tears or pen marks and still displays the glittery silver-black specks beautifully.
Sleeve: EX
The sleeve is in great condition also. There is some slight wear to the four corners and a little along the opening mouth. Front and rear colours still retain a beautiful finish and deep colour. When opened the full sleeve looks stunning - the spine has no flattening and only slight wear on the two corners. The inside of the dual-format EJ Day gatefold is close to immaculate! The inside of the spine has no wear and the flipback sides have no dirt or wear on them.
Inner Sleeve: EX
The inner sleeve is the original Emitex inner.

This is a wonderful example of this rare LP. The disc, insert and sleeve are all great!! Take advantage of the low start price to own this record before they all end up in private collections!
