Audiophile TAS ‘Star of Wonder’ Reference Record RR-21
Rare – Audiophile – TAS HP list – Reference Recordings RR-21. Original 1986 stereo premium HQ-180 vinyl pressing. A Professor Johnson’s pure analogue ‘half-speed’ recording made in St. Ignatius Church, San Francisco of a programme of seasonal music (traditional carols and choral music both ancient and modern) performed by the San Francisco Choral Artists directed by Ralph Hooper, with bell ringers, organ, harp and flute. The de-luxe gatefold sleeve contains descriptive notes of all the compositions. Beautiful sounds!
The disc is in near-mint condition. The thick card gatefold sleeve is in really excellent condition with minimal corner and edge wear. It has a neat silver metallic "Premium HQ-180 pressing" sticker on the cover front.
