Description

This is part of a big auction of mainly early Atlantic 45's I'm running this week. There are a few cool bonus listings as well. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a small label auction starting 9/11 as well.

Release: The Cardinals - She Rocks / The Bump

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1952


Notes: Second of 12 singles released by this group, which was originally named the Mellotones.  Music is a doo-wop flavored R&B.  Not super-unusual, but pretty good stuff. 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with no noticeable scratches or scuffs, almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing/tears, just the tiniest bit of ring scuffing.  See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.


Sleeve: The sleeves on most of the records I have in this auction are not in great shape.  They have almost all been water/liquid exposed at some point.  I will go ahead and include them for historical purposes, but you'll want to replace almost every one.
