Description
This auction is for the Ash Ra Temple Starring Rosi SQ Quad Quadraphonic album titled "Starring Rosi" pressed in SQ Quad Quadraphonic and released by Kosmische Musik OHR Records (KM 58.007) in 1973 in Germany featuring 7 tracks. This is an absolutely great sounding album in quad for SQ separation. This music is starring Rosi Mueller on vocals and she wrote the lyrics. The record looks a strong VG+ to VG++ and plays VG++ to near mint (VG++ because there are a few/occasional slight/minor pops and ticks throughout but not enough to distract from the quad music separation), with mint record labels, contained in a near mint plain white inner sleeve. The single sleeve record jacket is near mint. The record jacket has no cuts, holes, splits, dings, rings, dents, bends, tears, tape or tape marks, water damage or stains of any kind, writing of any kind, and no bar code. Ash Ra Temple was one of the first bands to convert the trippier side of late-1960s psychedelia into the kosmische rock of the 1970s. Most Ash Ra Temple titles were solely the work of Manuel Gottsching, plus any other additional players who happened to be around during the recording of his ten albums. This album includes the vocals from guest Rosi Mueller and spans guitar-virtuoso experimental rock (on "Laughter Loving") fairy-tale acoustic pop (on "Day Dream"), and kosmische philosophy (on "Interplay of Forces"). Mr. Gottsching shows off his skills in a number of different styles, and the album holds together very very well indeed! S&H for a single album shipment in the USA is 4 dollars.
