Description

  From the early to mid 60s comes this very rare 2-sided acetate on Oak Records by The VIPS entitled "Reveille Rock/Donna".This previously undocumented recording from the RG Jones Studio at Morden is possibly the earliest recording by The VIPS who eventually became Art and then Spooky Tooth.Featuring Mike Harrison,Luther Grovesnor,Greg Ridley and Mike Kellie,The VIPS also numbered Keith Emerson in their ranks later in their career.This acetate is possibly a one-off.The record comes with the stunning Oak Records label with the tiles and name of the Band written out in hand.The acetate is marked and plays very well.A low starting price and no reserve for an item which should be of interest to collectors of 60s Beat,R 'n' B, Freak Beat,Psych and Rock.
